These are the regions with the most beautiful weather in all of Spain – from north to south, the Costa Azahar, the Costa Blanca, and the Costa Calida (Murcia). Moving inland from the coast lies a peaceful and hilly interior. The Costa Blanca is extremely popular with road cyclists, who make trips through the interior from destinations such as Calpe, Javea, Denia, and Benidorm during winter and early spring. This is an attractive area for other cyclists as well, as the region offers a large selection of bike rental companies, cycling tour operators, bike shops, and cycling hotels.
