Bilbao is a city full of surprises and one that is perfect to discover by bike. The city offers both a charming historic center, as well as a futuristic side with impressive modern architecture, the Guggenheim museum being the most well-known of these buildings. Moreover, the municipalities of the Basque Country have put a lot of effort into making their cities bicycle-friendly over the last few years, which has led to Vitoria, San Sebastian, and Bilboa three of the top 10 best cycling cities in Spain.
