Renting a bike in Mallorca: smarter than bringing your own?
The bikes that Rompelberg rents out are of very high quality. The road bikes are assembled with Shimano Ultegra and maintenance is carried out by their own technicians at their two cycling stations in Alcudia and Playa de Palma. At these stations, you can pick up and park your rental bike, and there are also cycling maps, sports drinks, and water bottles available. The cycling stations are located near the hotels where Rompelberg guests stay.
- Grupotel Taurus Park, Avenida d’ America 7, 07600 Playa de Palma
- Apartamentos Jade, Carrer d’Agustí Catany, 8, 07600 Palma
- Rei del Mediterrani Palace, Carrer Creuer, 14, 07458 Playa de Muro
If you are not staying at these hotels, your rental bike can also be delivered to your hotel or apartment.
The prices for renting a bike at Rompelberg in Mallorca are surprisingly low. Road bikes with Ultegra equipment, for example, are available from 95 euros a week. With rental prices like these, you may wonder why you would still bring your own bike to Mallorca.
