Calpe (or Calp, as the locals call it) is one of those places on the Costa Blanca that continues to draw cyclists year after year. The combination of sun, beaches, and picturesque inland areas in the Alicante province attracts cyclists from all over and of all different levels; many professional teams even use Calpe as a home base for training in early spring. Just outside of the city center you will find SolyBike, a bike rental company with a good reputation. This company is run by a Spanish ex-professional cyclist, Aarón Villegas. SolyBike and the bike shop Ciclos Tony are under the same roof and owned by the same person.
Those seeking a place to rent a bike in the Calpe area need not look further than SolyBike. You can rent Scott and Orbea road bikes, MTBs, trekking bikes, and electric bikes. You can also contact SolyBike if you are looking for accommodations in the area, or if you have technical issues with your bike.
The Orbea road bikes are equipped with Shimano 105 or Ultegra. The MTBs are also Orbea brand, and the electric bikes are from the Dutch brand, Mihatra.
