Thijs put together a customized cycling holiday tailored to my personal preferences. Over the course of 9 days, I got to know the Costa Brava better by bike. Both the inland and the coast of the Costa Brava are truly worth exploring. My starting and ending point was the lively city of Girona, and the loop I made from Girona was pure enjoyment. The variety of landscapes, partly along an old railway line, now a gravel path, was ideal. Every day, I had a great hotel with air conditioning, and my luggage was always ready for me at my new hotel, allowing me to travel with just a small, compact cycling backpack.

The personal contact with Thijs was very pleasant, and the gravel bike (size XL) that he arranged for me was excellent!

We are a group of 12 “senior” riders and have been biking together for 30 years. We had a fantastic riding experience in Zona Zero with Thijs and Felix as our guides. A really varied program with some serious technical challenges and a good combination of riding up and up lifts. We have done a lot of holidays in our time and this one really stood out – highly recommended!!

This is the second time we have used Cycling Spain and it has been the best experience. Thijs organized two coaches/guides and a driver to take our 3 boys on 3 wonderful days of guided adventures. We have taken many mountain biking trips with our kids and they loved this one the most. We will be back, and would recommend your guiding services to anyone looking to ride all the great trails around Girona and Costa Brava.

I booked a mountainbike trip with cycling spain and I loved it! The guide Tico took me to some wonderful trails in a beautiful nature reserve and there were also some nice enduro bits. I will definitely book another trip here if I am in Girona again. I could have never found these trails myself.

Biking with mtb adventures has been the highlight of our trip to Spain. The scenery was gorgeous and the trails were a blast. We were hoping for intermediate to expert level trails and they delivered. Fantastic knowledge of the area, a few wonderful terrain surprises, and positive attitudes all day. This is a special place and we hope to return soon. Thanks again!
