Granada Residence is based in the pleasant white village of Cómpeta (642m) in the mountainous Axarquia region, a one-hour drive from Malaga. Owner Albert Dikhooff provides a personal approach through organizing tailor-made vacations for you, including bike rentals, accommodations, transfers, and GPS routes. He offers his own very nice accommodation in the village. The surrounding area of Cómpeta is anything but flat, but you can choose between routes with more intense or milder elevation gains. If you want an easily-organized and carefree week in Spain then this is a great option.
Albert offers several different road bike tours in the area. At least enough for a week in the saddle. All in all, we found La Granada to be a real gem, especially considering the hospitality and personal attention that Albert provides for all his guests.
