BOOKING CONDITIONS


Please read through the following Booking Conditions carefully before signing the booking form. These Booking Conditions aply to International Bikes 51 Training Camps, Racing Packages and Cycling Holidays, which are herein referred to as 'holidays'. In the Booking Conditions, International Bikes 51 is referred to as the ‘Company’.

1. Insurance
It is a booking condition that all customers are in possession of adequate insurance before attending holiday. Your insurance policy should include cover for baggage, including your bike, accident, medical expenses, personal injury and liability. The Company will not allow a person to attend a holiday week if they do not have adequate insurance.

2a. Booking
A completed, signed booking form and deposit are required to make a booking. A deposit of £75 or 120 Euros for each person must be paid at the time of booking. An invoice will then be issued detailing the outstanding amount, which must be paid no later than 8 weeks before departure. If you are booking less than 8 weeks before departure, full payment is required with a completed and signed form. Any individual withdrawing from a holiday after a confirmed booking will forfeit their deposit. If, after making a firm booking and paying a deposit, the final payment is not received before 8 weeks of the departure date, The Company reserves the right to regard the booking as terminated and the deposit will be forfeited. Please make cheques payable to ‘International Bikes 51’.

2b. Changes To Booking
If, after a booking has been confirmed and a full deposit made, it is necessary to either, change the group composition or any other holiday details, an administration fee of £10 will be charged. Please note that all alterations must be submitted in writing.

3a. Cancellation And Alterations
Cancellation of any trips will only be accepted from the main contact on the original booking form. If cancellation is made more than 8 weeks prior to your departure date your deposit will not be refunded. If you cancel after full payment has been made, the following cancellation charges will apply;

Between 8 and 6 weeks before the date of departure = 30% of the total holiday cost.
Between 6 and 4 weeks before the date of departure = 50% of the total holiday cost.
Between 4 and 2 weeks before the date of departure = 80% of the total holiday cost.
Between 2 and 0 weeks before the date of departure = 100% of the total holiday cost.

Please note that it is possible to transfer your deposit and/or full payment to another holiday week, although there will be an administration fee of £25 per person to move dates. Requests for transfers to another holiday week must be made in writing within 10 working days of cancellation along with the administration fee of £25 per person and full payment of any price difference between the two holiday weeks in question.

3b. Other Alterations
The Company will ensure that, if it becomes necessary to significantly alter or cancel a holiday, all parties pre booked on the relevant week will be informed as soon as possible. If a holiday week is cancelled after confirmation, you can either; receive a full refund, or, transfer onto another week free of charge.

4. Responsibility
The Company does not accept responsibility for death, personal injury, damage to property or any other loss due to delay, cancellations or any other circumstances beyond the Company’s control. All participants must obtain adequate insurance to cover all possibilities. If any participants have any medical conditions, they must be disclosed on the booking form. Customers using any of the vehicles provided by the company for any reason do so at their own risk. Please note that, although it is not yet compulsory in Spain to wear cycling helmets, we strongly recommend that helmets are used on all our holidays for your own safety and comfort.

5. Customer Service
The Company is committed to providing its’ customers with the best possible service. We welcome feedback and ask all our customers to take a few minutes to either fill in the end of week questionnaire or pass on their comments via e-mail. The Company reserves the right to refuse a booking or remove a participant from the holiday week party, if their behaviour is deemed to be disruptive and affecting the enjoyment of other members of the group. In these circumstances the Company will not be liable for any extra costs incurred by the participant.

6. Changes In Exchange Rates And Fuel Prices
If the exchange rate or fuel prices fluctuate it may be necessary to increase the cost of your holiday to cover the extra costs incurred by the company. This will only be necessary if the fluctuations are more than 2% of the total cost of your holiday.
